The Aphrodisiac

You know the feeling when you watch a horror movie and glad that the TV screen separates the audience from the fantastic nightmares? In the play “Aphrodisiac” you will be deprived even of this fragile protection, there will be nothing to rejoice and help will not come. You will meet face to face with primeval fear, and it will be a shock test of your nervous system!

In the arena of the Kiev circus will appear not clowns and jugglers, but the sinister image of the main character, the dreamer-loser. He was in the light, but knew the darkness; he wanted all good, but plunged the world into chaos; he fought with ignoble impulses, but nurture animal instincts. His attempt to keep out of trouble the chaste and defenseless turned into a thirst for bloody violence! As you may have guessed, this circus of death is not children's entertainment, it’s theatrical thriller, the audience under the age of 18 are not allowed.

In creating the horrible story was attended by director Maxim Golenko, known for his outrageous performances. Casting among hundreds of applicants for a specific role conducted personally by Irma Vitovskaya, Alexei Vertinsky, Mikhail Bondarenko and leading actors of the “Wild theatre”. The basis of the plot is the work of modern Ukrainian playwright Victor Ponizov.
